Brandon Wiley, MS, LPC, is a licensed mental health therapist and the founder and CEO of OpenedEyes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising diversity awareness and fostering cultural unity. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Gannon University in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, respectively. Brandon’s personal experiences with racial identity challenges inspired him to establish OpenedEyes in 2014, aiming to facilitate conversations around social justice and identity. In addition to his role at OpenedEyes, he serves as the Community Engagement and Partnership Coordinator for Suicide Prevention at the Erie VA Medical Center. Brandon has collaborated with various organizations, including Erie Insurance and the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership, to deliver culturally conscious training sessions. His dedication to community service and advocacy has earned him recognition, such as being featured in Erie’s “40 Under 40” and receiving the Erie Spirit Award.
